Extraction by steam distillation of the fir needles. A fresh resinous aroma. Invigorating in bath (use diluted). Hair tonic. Good air antiseptic & can be used as a steam inhalant to clear airways. Used by native Americans to prevent scurvy and to stuff matresses to repell lice and fleas. Steam inhallation to relieve bronchial catarrh, asthma, blocked sinuses, etc. Properties: Anti-viral, bactericidal, disinfectant, deodorant, expectorant, vermifuge.
