Turquoise

The name turquoise is related to the fact that is was brought to Europe from the Eastern Mediterranean by Levantine traders, more commonly known as Turks.  Its been highly prized for thousands of years and was used by the ancient Egyptians, Persians, Aztecs and American Indians.
The color is, of course, turquoise, but its range varies from green and greenish blue to sky blue shades which may be why it may be seen as the stone of hope as it can remind of wide open skies.
The Aztecs mined turquoise in an area now known as New Mexico and a significant amount of turquoise comes from Arizona, California and Nevada in the United States.
The color turquoise is refreshing, calming, grounding and patient.

Turquoise is considered to be stone of peace that decreases nervousness, tension, and stress. The gem promotes empathy, sensitivity and positive thinking. It is also highly protective.

The Turquoise Oversoul speaks “Beloved one. My attunement supports you as you move through barriers that are holding you back from being all that you can be. My focused light, being created and transmitted by my ambassadors, will penetrate your astral body. This can be a place where you store limiting beliefs, memories, guilt and fear that although important in their time now no longer serve you. This light will support as you travel deep clearing the last residues that are inhibiting a full expression of your divinity. These patterns are remnants and deep memories with their roots in previous lives. Through this meditational process your astral body can experience more fluidity, flexibility and space that will allow new opportunities to come forth.” From the Crystal Oversoul cards Attunements for Lightworkers by Michael Eastwood
