Tibetan quartz cluster (115309)

Tibetan quartz is mined, as the name suggests in Tibet. It is mined by hand and transported down the mountains by specialists. Tibetan quartz more commonly exhibits dark patches but recently a new batch has been discovered which has revealed these vibrant green phantoms in the quartz which is likely caused by the presence of Chromium. Makes for a special and magical crystal.

Measures 5" x 4.5" out of the stand. In its wooden stand 6" x 5.75"
