A unique piece that has come from the Elmwood Mine in Tennessee - this mine was known for producing fine specimens of fluorite for many years until it closed in 2008. It seems unlikely that specimens from this region will be as plentiful as they once were.
This is a fine example of fluorite from Elmwood with simple purple cubic forms which contrast with the dark lustrous sphalerite upon which they rest. A beautiful grounding expansive energy.
