The volatile oil is obtained by steam distillation of the 1) buds 2) leaves 3) stalks or stems of the plant. This particular oil is collected from the bud and is lower in eugenol content. A sweet-spicy odour and fruity fresh top note. Winter warming oil. Always dilute well when used on the skin. An antiseptic and stimulating oil. Also used as a mosquito repellent. Only extracted from the bud, this oil may be diluted to less than 1% and applied to the skin as necessary. Traditionally used as a muscle relaxant and soothing agent. Properties: Antiseptic, fungicidal, warming, soothing. DILUTE TO 5% OR LESS IN A CARRIER OIL BEFORE SKIN APPLICATION. KEEP OUT OF EYES. DO NOT SWALLOW.
