Cavansite set in silver (11115157)

Cavansite has a vivid, almost electric blue that is incredible. Its name, Cavansite, comes from its chemical composition, calcium vanadium silicate, and it was only discovered about 30 years ago. Some of the best-known deposits are found around the Poona (Pune) district, Maharashtra, India. In Feng Shui and Oriental Medicine, Cavansite relates to the Water Element. 

On another level, Cavansite is one of the stones I most associate with Starchildren.

Starchildren are those of us who carry the seeds of the future, merged with the past, within our DNA. Sometimes we get pulled so deeply into human reality that we forget how vast we are. There are a few stones that I associate with being a Star-child, and Cavansite would be up there, along with Moldavite and Apophyllite.
