Al Faras 100ml Europa Flacon (1115049)

The 100ml Europa bottles are antique, 75-year-old collectable flacons from Verrerie Cristallerie d’Arques.

Neither Chypre nor Amber, Al faras is a tender, floral leather perfume that uses incredible resins to create its structural integrity. None of the florals are dominant in this composition, they have been woven into an elegant posy. The suede-like backdrop is not heavy or overpowering, and is simply a perfect Autumn and/or Spring love affair.

Al faras leaves a lingering trail of soft seduction, and is totally appropriate for all genders.

Al Faras is a beguiling, deeply romantic floral leather perfume that uses natural resins for structure and has a classic French character. Teone's ability to create such complexity using only plant-based ingredients is astounding.

Bright Bergamot bursts forth, followed by two types of Rose, Jasmine Grandiflorum, Orange Blossom, Orris root (which gives a powdery, luxurious quality), Ambrette, Tonka, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Copal Blanco (an aromatic resin extracted from trees native to Mexico and Central America that brings a crisp pine top note with slightly burnt undertones), White Pine Resin, Mt Atlas Mastic an aromatic tree resin harvested from the oriental spruce native to Northern Turkey, which resembles fresh juniper being rubbed in your hands), Afghani Musk Root, which adds a slightly pungent green, musky note, indolic, animalic in character; two types of Frankincense and Goddess Myrrh absolute, which add even more depth, resinous warmth and sweetness, with hints of dried fruit to this heady creation.  Al Faras leaves a lingering trail of soft seduction.
