Septarian (1114837)

Septarian has a nurturing and calming energy, reminding us to nurture ourselves, others and ideas. As they're essentially gifts from the earth's natural resources, they can also remind us to stop and give thanks to Mother Earth. The name Septarian comes from the Latin word Septem, or seven. They're called this because, when the balls cracked and formed their unique designs, there were said to be seven cracks in each direction. They comprise calcite, aragonite and limestone, which were formed millions of years ago at the bottom of prehistoric oceans. When these oceans dried out, they cracked and formed hollow interiors that filled with other minerals.
