Cavansite silver ring (1114705)

A beautiful piece of Cavansite set in a silver ring - size 55.

Cavansite has a vivid, almost electric blue that is incredible. Its name, Cavansite, is derived from its chemical composition, calcium vanadium silicate, and was only really discovered around 30 years ago. Some of the best-known deposits can be found around the Poona (Pune)  district, Maharashtra, India. In Feng Shui and Oriental Medicine Cavansite relates to the Water Element. 

On another level, Cavansite would be one of the stones that I would most associate with Starchildren.

Starchildren are those of us who carry the seeds of the future, merged with the past, within our DNA. Sometimes we can be pulled so deeply into human reality that we forget just how vast we are. There are a few stones that I associate with being a Star-child, and Cavansite would be up there, along with Moldavite and Apophyllite.
