The volatile oil is obtained by steam distillation of the wood of the Camphor Tree followed by fractionation of the oil. Piercing. Sharp. Pungent. Camphoraceous odour. Always use well diluted. Warming oil during the winter season. Can be used as a steam inhalent (a few drops of oil in water). Insect repellent (flies and moths). Traditionally used as a deodorant, soothing agent, skin conditioner and muscle relaxant. Properties: Warming, Insect Repellant. DILUTE TO 5% OR LESS IN A CARRIER OIL BEFORE SKIN APPLICATION.
