Reiki with Jason Hood

The 21st Century offers us many things, and as these exciting, liberating and empowering years are with us, it gives us as individuals a chance to embrace the coming changes.

Reiki within the 21st Century can provide a sense of personal empowerment that is perhaps not found in any other Healing or Self Development Method.

Primarily used as a Healing Technique, Reiki can be used on anything from acne to cancer and everything in between. Whilst many conditions, ailments, symptoms and illnesses respond favourably to Reiki, the true message and power of Reiki in its Healing application is the personal sense of empowerment and control that it gives back to the individual and their Healing needs. Whilst Reiki can be very powerful in regards to physical ailments, these can only really be healed by taking a holistic approach to Reiki’s application and bringing the Emotional, Mental & Spiritual aspects of the illness into balance and harmony as well, as Reiki works on all levels of being simultaneously. This is where Reiki excels at being one of the premier Healing Systems that anyone of any age can use with ease.

Whilst many people first turn to Reiki as a Healing system, another aspect and power of Reiki is one of Self Development and Empowerment. Allowing individuals who approach and use Reiki to step by step help themselves to become the Real True enlightened Being that they have always been. Through regular application of Reiki into all aspects and areas of your life, Reiki allows you to take back some space and peace in this World. Through Reiki, you can find inner peace, a sense of enlightenment and attain equilibrium in all aspects and areas of your life. Giving you a sense of direction, acceptance and above all; empowerment & liberation.

The Workshops

Each level of Reiki is held over a Weekend, both Saturday & Sunday from 10am – 5pm. The format is easy, peaceful, relaxed and informal. Each workshop has no more than 6 participants, as this allows enough time and space to be given to each Student, and gives each Student enough personal space for them to participate in the Workshop fully.

The Workshops are held above the AristiA Shop in Albert Road, Southsea, in their peaceful & comfortable Workshop Space.

Each Workshop and level of Reiki comes with a Manual and a Certificate in your name to say that you’ve completed a practical and theoretical Workshop.

I teach Traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho (Usui Spiritual Energy Healing Method). I also incorporate both Traditional and Non-Traditional methods and techniques. The aim of each Workshop is to give the Student practical, grounded, and usable techniques that they can take out of the Workshop and apply successfully and easily in the everyday world.

Reiki 1st Degree is £100

Reiki 2nd Degree is £200

Reiki 3rd Degree (Master Practitioner) is £300

Reiki 3rd Degree (Master Teacher)

is open to those who have completed a minimum of 2 years of doing Reiki and who wish to continue to become a Reiki Teacher. For price, please enquire.

Workshop Outlines

Reiki 1st Degree – also known as Shoden

This level of Reiki is open to anyone. All the work done is aimed at the individual and their healing needs. Giving them a good ground in working with Reiki and applying it to their lives. Traditional Techniques and Meditations are given, as well and being Empowered with Reiki via the Reiju Technique (Gift of Spiritual Offering). Most of the techniques are mainly “hands on”.

The 1st Degree will provide;

· The History of Reiki

· How Reiki came to and developed in the West

· How to use Reiki on yourself

· How to use Reiki on others

· Connecting to and sensing Reiki

· Traditional & Non-Traditional Meditations & Techniques

Reiki 2nd Degree – also known as Okuden

This level is open to those who have taken Reiki 1st Degree with a minimum of 3 months experience. This level of Reiki allows for further development of the Student’s abilities with Reiki, and allows them to become a Practitioner, capable of working with others in a more professional sense. It teaches the Student more techniques of working more energetically and “hands off”. This level also provides the Student with 3 of the Traditional Symbols that help to empower & enhance their workings with Reiki.

The 2nd Degree Workshop will provide;

· 3 Traditional Symbols, their meanings and applications

· Distance Healing Techniques

· Meditations to help deepen your contact with Reiki

· Techniques to help facilitate your use of the Symbols in all areas of Life

Reiki 3rd Degree (Master Practitioner) – also known as “Shinpiden”

This level is open to those who have taken 2nd Degree Reiki, with a minimum of 12-18 months experience. This level of Reiki is for those that wish to continue on their own personal Healing Path, find a deeper awareness of themselves and Reiki, and build upon their experiences and insights with Reiki.

The 3rd Degree (Master Practitioner) Workshop will provide;

· The 4th Traditional Reiki Symbol its meaning and applications

· How to use the Symbol for deeper Healing

· Connecting to Higher Forces within and around you

· Traditional & Non-Traditional Methods & Techniques to connect to your energetic self on a deeper level

· Techniques to heighten your Reiki Practice, and bring more awareness & empowerment into your Reiki regime

Each Workshop is tailored, where appropriate, to the Group Energy, and as such they are allowed to come together at their own pace. So whilst Workshops are held regularly, each one may come together at irregular intervals.

I fill the Workshop with humour, compassion, integrity, with full participation from myself as well as those attending, along with a real sincere love of teaching and passing on Reiki in a safe, gentle, yet empowering and grounded way.

Monthly Reiki Shares are available to my Students, allowing them the time and space to ask any questions about Reiki and practice techniques taught within the Workshops.
